[U.K.] Addicts may get flu drug first:
Meanwhile the world's top flu expert has warned against the dangers of fast-tracking vaccines without proper checks.
The European Medicines Agency is accelerating the approval process for swine flu and Britain will use the vaccine after it gets the green light, expected in weeks.
But World Health Organization's flu chief Dr Keiji Fukuda, the World Health Organisation's flu chief, warned: "One of the things which cannot be compromised is the safety of vaccines.
"There are certain areas where you can make economies, perhaps, but certain areas where you simply do not try to make any economies."
It's feared the new vaccine may cause side effects which won't be discovered until millions are dished out.
