Sarasota County and the Sarasota County Health Department will hold a community-wide forum to provide prevention tips and information about the H1N1 virus and seasonal flu.
When: 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14.
Where: Sarasota County Administration Building: 1660 Ringling Boulevard, first floor County Commission Chamber
A panel of local experts will address the following topics:
· What to do if you get flu-like symptoms.
· When to seek emergency care.
· Caring for a sick person in your home.
· What pregnant women should know.
· Precautions and preparations at home, school, work and in your neighborhood.
· H1N1 and seasonal flu vaccinations.
