Unfortunately, all these statements are false. The concentration of
mercury in multi-dose vaccine vials is 50,000 micrograms per liter
(ug/l). To put this in perspective, according to the Environmental
Protection Agency, if a liquid exceeds 200 ug/l of mercury, it is
considered hazardous waste based on toxicity characteristics. The
concentration in the vaccine vials is 250 times higher than what is
considered hazardous waste. Anyone who refers to this concentration as
'tiny' does not understand the meaning of the word."
